Oil stays. Water passes.

We manufacture absorbent socks and pillows from meltblown polypropylene at our own nonwovens mill in Ukraine. Every capacity figure on this page was measured drained — fifteen minutes immersed in diesel, two minutes suspended — because that is the quantity the product actually keeps.

01Measurement

Oil is held in the voids between fibres, not by the fibres.

Packing a sock tighter adds material while removing the space that does the work. We ran both on our own line — same fluid, same immersion, same drain time — and the lighter one won.

7.5g/g Dense pack
460 g fill
9.3g/g High loft
320 g fill

Both specimens: diesel, fifteen minutes fully immersed, two minutes suspended before weighing. The lighter fill absorbed 24% more per gram — and the finished sock weighs a third less to carry, to handle and to dispose of. That is the whole reason this company is called what it is.

02Range

Socks contain. Pillows recover.

Two formats, one material. The sock lays a barrier that keeps oil where it happened; the pillow lifts standing oil out of a sump, a bund or a drip tray. Both float, both repel water, both are measured the same way.

03How we
measure

We publish drained figures. Most import catalogues do not.

Ask a supplier how their absorbency figure was obtained. The usual answer is full immersion with no drain — the weight of a product lifted straight out of the fluid, before it stops dripping. It is a larger number, and it is not what your customer keeps.

We have seen a single manufacturer quote 6.25 litres in its catalogue while its own sales office described the same product as 1.8 litres undrained. Every figure on this page is measured after a two-minute suspended drain, and we will send you the raw weights — dry and wet — for any specimen you ask about.

In this category, colour is a specification.

BS 7959-3 assigns each absorbent class its own colour, so a responder can identify the right product without reading a label. We manufacture the white class, and we would rather tell you plainly where the range stops than imply we cover it all.

Oil-only Hydrophobic. Absorbs hydrocarbons, repels water, floats. In production
Maintenance Universal. Takes oil, coolant and water alike. In development
Chemical Acids, alkalis and aggressive media. Not offered
05Supply

Four things a container from the Far East cannot give you.

01

No import duty

The UK–Ukraine free trade agreement runs to March 2029, and the DCFTA covers the EU. Far-East nonwovens carry a tariff on arrival; ours do not.

02

Road, not ocean

Five to seven days in transit by road, and about twenty-five from order to your door. Sea freight from the Far East runs forty-plus days before you count production time.

03

Your money moves faster

The same annual volume ties up far less working capital when each load spends twenty-five days in transit instead of eighty. Order the quantity you already order, get it back into cash sooner.

04

Your brand from the start

Private label from your first order, with no separate customisation minimum. We are the mill, so the sleeve is ours to print.

Lead time — first order Five to six weeks

We are opening this line, and we would rather quote you the truth than the brochure figure.

Lead time — repeat orders Days, from UK stock

Once volume justifies it we hold stock in England and ship against your order.

06 — Samples

Test it against what you stock today.

We send samples free of charge with the measured dry weight of each piece. Run them against your current supply on the same protocol — same fluid, same immersion, same drain — and tell us where we land. That is the comparison we would like you to make, and the only one worth making.
